Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Eudora QuickMail desktop application and the Dinámica Ingeniería website at www.dinamica.tech. References to “QuickMail,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean the Eudora QuickMail project operated by Dinámica Ingeniería.

2. Information handled by the desktop application

QuickMail processes the information needed to provide the features you choose to use. This may include account identifiers and settings; email messages, headers and attachments; contacts; calendar events and invitations; folders, rules, saved views and preferences; and local diagnostic logs.

This information is stored locally on your Windows device in your QuickMail profile. Passwords are stored in Windows Credential Manager. OAuth refresh tokens are protected using Windows Credential Manager and Windows data protection. QuickMail connects directly from your computer to the providers and servers that you configure.

3. Google user data

If you choose to connect a Google account, QuickMail requests only the permissions needed for the features you enable:

• Identity: OpenID and email address access are used to confirm which Google account you connected.
• Gmail: the Google Mail permission is used to authenticate to Gmail over IMAP and SMTP so QuickMail can read, organize, send and manage mail at your direction.
• Google Calendar: calendar access is used to display, create, edit and delete events when you use QuickMail’s calendar features.
• Google Contacts: read-only access to saved contacts and other contacts is requested only if you enable contact synchronization, so QuickMail can show and search recipients when composing mail.

QuickMail does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, data brokerage or training general-purpose artificial intelligence models. It does not sell Google user data.

4. How Google user data is stored and shared

Mail, calendar information and contacts may be cached locally on your device to provide search, offline access and the features described above. Access tokens are used to communicate with Google services, and refresh tokens are protected by Windows. Google user data is not transmitted to or stored on Dinámica Ingeniería servers.

QuickMail shares data only as necessary to carry out an action you request—for example, sending a message through your mail provider, updating an event through Google Calendar, or communicating with a server you configured. We do not disclose Google user data to advertisers or unrelated third parties.

5. Google API Limited Use

QuickMail’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Retention, deletion and revoking access

Your local data remains on your device until you remove it. You can disconnect or delete an account in QuickMail, delete the QuickMail profile from Windows, and revoke Google access from your Google Account security settings. Revoking access stops future Google API access but does not automatically remove local copies already stored on your device; those can be deleted by removing the applicable account data or profile.

7. Website information

This website does not include advertising, analytics trackers, account registration or contact forms. Its hosting provider may process limited technical information—such as IP address, request time, browser type and requested URL—to deliver the site, prevent abuse and maintain security. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles.

8. Security

QuickMail uses reasonable technical safeguards appropriate to a local desktop application, including Windows-protected credential storage, encrypted OAuth token storage and restricted rendering of message content. No system is completely secure; you are responsible for securing your Windows account, device and backups.

9. Children

QuickMail is a general-purpose email application and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through this website.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when QuickMail’s features or data practices change. The effective date above will identify the current version. Privacy questions may be sent to privacy@dinamica.tech.
